Just as Ms. Fawkes is well-known for her "Anything He Wants," & "Castaway," Series, she's come along and did it again, and has written another masterpiece!! Ms. Fawkes' character development with her lead characters, along with her secondary characters is absolutely astounding!! She doesn't disappoint w/this novella, leading us, the reader to the edge of our seats, twitching our legs, as we anxiously await for the arrival of the next installment to Eve & Ash's whirl-wind romance. As usual her writing is PHENOMENAL! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS NOVELLA 10 STAR RATING!!

I did enjoy the book. It was good. Somewhat typical but still engaging and interesting. What frustrated me is you could have done it in one book. So sick of the short story to make a book two. Needless to say I didn't know I'd have to wait for a book two. But in general it was good for a easy read.
I love hot MC books, and this one will be added to my list of favorites! Only down fall and why it got 4 stars is it stops right in the middle of something good! I don't mind cliff hangers but make sure book 2 comes out fast like within days to no longer then 6 months. Now I'm suck...I want to know what happens!! I can only use my imagination so far lol I'm hoping bk 2 comes out soon!!
Overall it's a great book, sexy biker falls for a news reporter. She tries for a awesome story to save her job, but it doesn't happen. She chose the hot sexy biker over her job. She gets in a middle of a war between to clubs it gets dangerous. But Ash there to safe her! What has she gotten herself into?? Well the sex is very hot and on a bike, oh baby! So she decided to see where it goes or does she? In this book you get sex, fights, wars, death, shoot outs, murder, romance, love, adventure and action! Really good book, you like badass hot bikers then this book is for you!!
This was a good quick MC story. Eve works for a newspaper and is trying to get a story on the MC clubs in the area. While in a biker bar trying to interview some of the bikers, she meets Ash, the sergeant at arms of the Savages MC club. The two have an immediate connection. Ash even holds her hand.

I loved Ash. He's so protective of Eve and sweet at the same time. Eve is a great female lead. Not a whiny complaining female we sometimes read. She's strong, determined and loyal to Ash. As the story progresses, these two become an item. But the Savages are now at war with a rival club and Ash is put in charge.

Ash's dad is the president of the club, and a likeable guy. The VP is Marcus and I see him causing problems in the future.

Read this story for a great introduction into the Savages world. This does not end in a cliffhanger, but will continue in the next book due this summer. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens between Ash and Eve, and I know you'll love them as much as I did.
This was a short quick read that I liked. Eve Parker who is a plain Jane makes one last attempt to keep her job as a TV journalist by trying to flesh out an investigative story about "one perimeters." There's instant attraction between Eve and Ash which is a complication for them both, and both find that through an unforeseen set of circumstances that conflict's with a rival biker club, Eve and Ash both worry about what the future holds for the club as well for them. I loved Ash. He's so protective of Eve and sweet at the same time. Eve is a great female she is strong, determined and loyal to Ash. As the story progresses these two become an item and with the club being at war things get a lot more complicated. This was a really good book the sex scenes were hot I also liked the other character's in this book as well. This is a new series for me and I have read other books by this author. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading more books in this series.
From word one this novella lays out the basic culture clash that comes alive for the reader when a struggling TV journalist meets the enforcer of a small motorcycle club made up of former military. Ash is completely committed to his biker brotherhood but as he grows older even he is wondering if there will come a time when he can have some kind of family of his own. Eve Parker, on the other hand,makes one last attempt to keep her job, such as it is, by trying to flesh out an investigative story about "one perimeters." Their almost instant attraction to one another is a complication for them both, and both find that through an unforeseen set of circumstances that mean armed conflict with a rival biker club, Eve and Ash both worry about what the future holds for the club as well for them personally. I am NOT a fan of cliffhanger stories yet I found myself intrigued by the publisher's blurb and my growing fascination with novels featuring motorcycle clubs. The author seems to have created characters that are complication acted, pulled in one direction by their loyalty to their club and in another direction by that intrusive sense of right and wrong that may have become a mere shadow of a conscience. This novella introduces most of.The main characters that will show up in the books to come. A quite good segue into the next book.
