Having read some of the author's other free shorts, I went into this expecting to get a few laughs. I didn't even get that. The writing was even more juvenile than usual. On basically every page, we have to be reminded that our characters have Daddy issues. Information is spoon-fed to us: one of the boyfriends receives a text message at 2 AM and the author immediately tells us that he has a secret.This short piece of fiction follows 3 different storylines, with basically only one scene per storyline. One of these follows a rocker who lusts after his Asian backup dancer, and the racism is so blatant that any eye-rolling chuckles I'd had stopped immediately. Not to mention that there's the word "mongoloid", which is used to derogatorily refer to a person with Down Syndrome, but the author mistakenly uses it to refer to Asians.

Love this book
This is "writing by the numbers," so to speak riddled with cliches and culture references plugged into the prose in place of effective writing. It shows a marked improvement over Morissey's "My Daddy Is a Handsome Prince 1" with regard to spelling and grammar. But the writing itself is still the same juvenile, pedestrian pap. I give the author vast credit for perseverance; 75 titles is nothing to sneeze about. But the book covers are their greatest charm. I wonder when this writer will rise above the level of "hack."
So bad I did not finish it. Now I'm deleting it from my library. Don't want to waste my space keeping this item.
It was a good ,quick read. I read while getting an oil change. Then bought and started the next. Fun
Can not wait for the second part. It had my chest pounding and I couldn't put it down. Great job
wow! What a book! Hot love in Part 1. Wish I were there. Movie Star who falls for an Asian dancer and singer and hot love, part 2. Part three, oh brother! some old lady falls in love with the movie star in Part 2 and she is going after him with a, well buy the book. You won't regret it. And now I'm ready for Book 2. Good work, Nathan
